How to use your Pendulum

Cleanse Your Pendulum:
Your pendulum can be energetically cleared by smudging it with sage, placing it on a piece of selenite for a day, placing it in the sun for a day or soaking for a few hours in sea salt. After your pendulum has been cleared set a mental intention to have it provide you with truthful and insightful responses serving the good of all concerned.

(Amethyst pendulums should never be cleansed in the sun. Salt may oxidize copper, bronze , brass pendulums, and plated metals, if this happens clean with a mixture of salt and vinegar.)

Determine the Directional Swings of Your Pendulum:
Assign each directional swing a "response" by first asking the pendulum to show you what certain responses look like. Ask: What does a NO look like? What does a YES look like? What does neutral look like?

Examples:

vertical swing signifies NO

horizontal swing signifies YES

circular movement signifies NEUTRAL

Prepare Your Questions:

A question should be one that can be answered with a positive, negative or neutral response.

Good Example Question:

Will I be offered the job I interviewed for this morning? 

Poor Example Question:

Should I fly or drive on my next trip?
